Heroes / Warlock
Drains the front enemy while hexing the back one, and at level 3 its hexes keep growing.

Abilities
Hex
Main. Puts Hexed on the enemy at the back, or refreshes it to 2 rounds. Each different hexer adds a stack (max 3).
Also on: Pyromancer
Drain Life
Main attack, melee. Deals its power as magical damage to the front enemy, then heals itself by its power (no heal if the attack is blocked).
Also on: Blood Witch, Necromancer
Agony
Passive. Hexes this unit applies grow: each time the Hexed status ticks it deals 1 more damage than the last tick, for as long as the hex keeps being refreshed.
How to use Warlock
Best position: middle or back.
It works on both ends of the enemy lineup: Hex on the back enemy and Drain Life on the front.
Hex damage ignores armor. It lasts 2 rounds, but Warlock keeps refreshing it for as long as it lives.
Agony at level 3 makes each Hex tick hit 1 harder than the last for as long as the Hex keeps being refreshed, so it wants long fights.
Good teammates
-
Pyromancer
A second hexer adds a stack, on top of Burning from Ignite.
-
Bard
Crescendo also rewards fights that last.
Tier by stage of the run
