Abilities
Strike
Main attack, melee. Deals its power as physical damage to the front enemy.
Also on: Berserker, Grove Warden, Guildmaster, Martyr, Paladin, Peddler, Sellsword, Shieldbearer, Skullsplitter, Squire, Thornweaver, Warchief, Wildheart
Caltrops
Reaction. Whenever an enemy hits this unit with a melee attack, that enemy loses 1 speed.
Also on: Bard, Illusionist, Minstrel, Peddler, Ranger, Warchief
Retreat
Passive. Blocks the first enemy attack that would hurt its health, then moves to the back of its team. Hits its armor stops don't use it up. Once per battle.
Also on: Apprentice, Assassin, Bounty Hunter, Illusionist, Minstrel
Flurry
Main attack. Makes one melee hit for every 2 speed it has, each dealing half its power rounded up (at least 1) and piercing armor, spread across enemies front to back. Each hit can trigger the target's counters.
How to use Cutpurse
Best position: front or middle.
With 6 speed from the start, it acts before most enemies. Caltrops also slows anyone who hits it in melee.
Retreat blocks the first hit that would hurt it, then moves it to the back. Remember that this changes your lineup mid-fight.
Flurry makes one hit for every 2 speed, so speed is worth more on Cutpurse than on anyone else. Each hit is small on its own, but it pierces armor.
Good teammates
-
Minstrel
Momentum gives more speed each round, which means more Flurry hits.
-
Warchief
Extra power rounds up across many small hits.
Tier by stage of the run
Early B · Middle A · Late S. Slow start, but a strong late-game piece in the right team.
